Newcastle, formally Newcastle Upon Tyne, is a university city in Tyne and Wear, Northeast England, United Kingdom. It's twin city is Gateshead and historically was a major shipbuilding and manufacturing hub during the Industrial revolution and is now a centre of business, arts and sciences. Newcastle is well known for the Gateshead Millennium Bridge which spans the River Tyne for it's impressive architecture.

It has a Larger Urban Zone population of 1,140,000.

  • Chapel House Estate - an area in the west of the city.
  • Chinatown - an are to the west of the city.
  • Cochrane Park - a sporting area in the city. It obviously has no tower blocks however is recorded due to it being labelled as an 'area'.
