Hull, formally Kingston Upon Hull, is a port city in the East Riding of Yorkshire in Northern England, United Kingdom. It's history is mostly based around fishing. It has a population of 284,000 and a LUZ (Larger Urban Zone) population of over 570,000. It is home to several tower blocks.

Description[]

Hull is on the north bank of the River Humber, and it's east and west is separated by the River Hull which runs through the centre of the city. It was affected heavily by bombings in the war, and as a result more homes needed to be built post-war, which brought about the city's tower blocks.
